Kazakhstan-Georgia Business Forum 2025
On the behalf of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union we are pleased to announce that, on June 4–5, 2025, a Georgian business delegation will visit Atyrau, Kazakhstan, as part of an official economic mission.
As part of the visit, and with the co-organization of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Georgia and the Administration of the Atyrau Region, Kazakhstan–Georgia Business Forum will be held. The forum will include B2B meetings with representatives of the private sector, offering you the opportunity to arrange bilateral meetings with leading Kazakh companies.
Atyrau is recognized as one of the most promising economic hubs in Central Asia. Among Kazakhstan’s regions, Atyrau, Almaty, and Astana are the only three that contribute more than 10% to the country’s total GDP—with Atyrau accounting for 12.8%. Notably, Atyrau is the geographically closest of these regions to Georgia, presenting a strategic advantage in reducing transport and logistics costs.
While widely known for its major international oil and gas projects, Atyrau also offers attractive conditions for business development in other sectors, including logistics, infrastructure, technology, agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism. The region is actively developing free economic zones and transport corridors connecting China, the Caspian region, and Europe—positioning Atyrau as a vital transit hub. This makes the region especially appealing to Georgian companies operating in transport and trade sectors.
Additionally, demand for imported goods and services is steadily increasing in the local market, particularly in food products, pharmaceuticals, education, and vocational training, creating a wide range of opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises. The regional government is also offering tax incentives and simplified administrative procedures to attract and support foreign businesses.
Representatives of Kazakhstan companies will be invited to the B2B meetings based on your specific interests and target sectors. The Kazakh-Georgian Economic Association will oversee the coordination of the visit and B2B meetings, and will provide logistical, technical, and informational support throughout.
