March 26, 2021, Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union was established under the joint initiative of the Kazakhstan Embassy in Georgia and Kazakh-Georgian businesses. the founders of the organization are business companies and corporations operating with Kazakh Capital share on the Georgian market: „Silk Road Group“, „Halyk Bank Georgia“, „Capitol Group“, „Rompetrol“, „Batumi Oil Terminal“, „Air Astana“ and „GK Logistics“.

 

The mission of the union is to reinforce economic growth and the establishment of a healthy, competitive business environment in Georgia and Kazakhstan by enhancing trade, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.

A member of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union can be any organization, private or public legal entity, an individual and a non-governmental organization, Georgian or foreign company, or any entrepreneurial person, that partially or fully participates in business and cultural activities in Georgia and/or Kazakhstan.
