Meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Transport of Kazakhstan

On April 6 in Tbilisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ermek Kosherbayev, and the Minister of Transport, Nurlan Sauranbayev, met with representatives of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union and its member companies. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia - Malik Murzalin. At the meeting, the guests were introduced to information regarding the five-year activity of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union.

During the conversation, the importance and development prospects of the "Middle Corridor" were discussed, as well as the deepening of agricultural and industrial cooperation. The importance of further expanding investment cooperation and creating favorable conditions for the businesses of the two countries was noted.

At the meeting, the parties stated that they consider the transport-logistics and energy sectors as promising directions for bilateral cooperation, which will contribute to the strengthening of economic ties and the increase of export-import potential.
