Meeting with VQ Business Club Kazakhstan

On September 9, a meeting between the Georgian-Kazakh Economic Union and members of VQ Business Club Kazakhstan was held at the Telegraph Hotel in Tbilisi.

The meeting brought together representatives of various business sectors, including education, healthcare, technology, oil and gas, mining, construction, engineering services, retail and wholesale trade, cosmetics, textiles and fashion, as well as international investment.

During the meeting, VQ Business Club members were introduced to the activities, ongoing projects, and future plans of the Georgian-Kazakh Economic Union. The participants also discussed opportunities to further deepen business relations between Georgia and Kazakhstan, including prospects for expanding trade, investment, and joint business projects.

One of the key topics of discussion was logistics and the challenges related to freight transportation between the two countries. Participants noted that logistical difficulties remain an important challenge for both Kazakh and Georgian businesses, affecting the expansion of trade relations and the development of new business partnerships. Finding effective solutions in this area is particularly important for fully utilizing the potential of the Middle Corridor and increasing trade flows between Georgia and Kazakhstan.

The parties also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations, including the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding in the future.

Cooperation with VQ Business Club is of interest to both the Georgian-Kazakh Economic Union and the Georgian business community. The diverse business sectors represented by the Club’s members create additional opportunities for cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, services, technology, education, construction, energy and mining, fashion, and cosmetics.

For Georgian companies, this cooperation creates opportunities to identify new partners in the Kazakh market, expand exports of products and services, develop joint projects, and access new investment opportunities.
