On March 26, 2021, the official founding event of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Iveria. The union was established through joint efforts and initiatives of the Kazakh Embassy and Kazakh-Georgian businesses, and the event was attended by the founders, partners, and media representatives. The main mission of the union is to deepen economic and trade relations between Kazakhstan and Georgia, and to create joint events focused on investments, tourism, and social and cultural activities between the two countries. It is significant that the founders of the organization are businesses and corporations operating in the Georgian market with Kazakh capital investment, including "Silk Road Group", "Halyk Bank Georgia", "Capitol Group", "Rompetrol", "Batumi Oil Terminal", "Air Astana" airline and "GK logistics". It is worth noting that nearly 30 companies, created with Kazakh capital investment, operate in Georgia with a total investment exceeding 450 million US dollars. The establishment of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union serves to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, providing a valuable platform for collaboration, growth, and development.
