On April 21, the Chairman of the Board of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union presented the union's activity report for 2021-2022 to its founding members at the Museum Hotel. The meeting was attended by various representatives, including the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Georgia, Malik Murzalin, the embassy's representative, and honorary consuls of Kazakhstan such as Levan Bagdavadze, Irakli Kakaladze, and Giorgi Abashidze. Also present were founding members of the association such as "Khalik Bank of Georgia" and "Kapitol Group," as well as companies with Kazakh capital or equity participation in Georgia such as "Batumi Oil Terminal," "Rompetrol Georgia," "Silk Road Real Estate," and "GK Logistics," along with board members.

The presentation of the report was followed by a working meeting with the purpose of reviewing the activities planned and implemented in the past period, comparing current results, discussing current challenges, and introducing the medium-term future plan.

The Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union was established to promote economic cooperation and development between the two countries. The union's activities include promoting trade and investment, facilitating joint ventures, and fostering collaboration in various industries such as energy, transport, tourism, and agriculture.

 The presented activity report highlighted the union's achievements over the past year, which included successful events and initiatives such as the Kazakh-Georgian Business Forum, the establishment of the Kazakh-Georgian Agricultural Working Group, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Georgian Railway. The report also addressed the challenges faced by the union, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and discussed future plans, such as the development of a joint investment fund and the creation of a Kazakh-Georgian Business Council.

Overall, the presentation of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union's activity report provided an opportunity for members to assess the progress made towards promoting economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia and to discuss future plans to strengthen the union's activities.
