On September 29, 2021, a round table discussion was held at the "Rooms" hotel in Tbilisi on the importance and potential of Kazakh tourist flow for Georgia. The primary objective of the event was to identify challenges facing the tourism sector and determine future activities needed to foster growth in tourist flows. The round table was attended by representatives from the public and private sectors of Georgian tourism, as well as the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Georgia. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with a live broadcast on the union page and participation from interested individuals via the Zoom platform. During the discussion, attendees exchanged ideas and insights about the potential of the Kazakh tourist market for Georgia, identifying key challenges and opportunities for growth. The outcome of this productive event was a document outlining the issues discussed, recommendations, and challenges. The document was subsequently published on the website of the research center PMCG, ensuring that the insights shared during the round table would reach a wider audience and contribute to the growth and development of the tourism industry in Georgia.
